The new Complete Graphene rod series was developed after meticulous testing and trialling. Most of this took place during practical fishing over a full three-year period.

The ability to cast very far with little effort was central throughout the development of the new Complete Graphene series.
Complete Graphene is somewhat reminiscent of our Nitro series, but the rods have a slightly deeper action and a somewhat stiffer tip. The use of the entirely new material graphene has made it possible to develop rods with a crisp, strong tip without adding extra mass and weight to the tip section.

A deep and smooth action, short stroke, crisp tip section and ultralight weight are key terms that describe the characteristics of Complete Graphene.

The rods were developed and tested using many different lines. An important consideration was that each rod should match the stated line class exactly, and that using, among others, the Syrstad Complete SCS and SCSS line series should produce a “wow”—what an incredible match.

This is also why the new series was named Complete: the rod series was designed to be as complete as possible, while also fitting the Syrstad Complete lines like a “hand in glove”.

When the river is not particularly large and/or for summer fishing, this is an excellent choice.
The rod is very light, and its deep action combined with a lively, short stroke makes Spey casting a dream. Its crisp, strong tip also gives it excellent lifting power, which comes into its own when using large flies and sinking lines.
The 13-footer #8/9 is available in both four- and six-piece versions, making it a fine alternative for anyone who often takes their rod on flights. The rod performs best with head weights from 33–36 g, depending on head length.

If you fish a normal-sized and/or large river and want to choose a size that suits and handles all conditions, then 14#9/10 is the right choice.
An ultralight summer rod that is excellent for more floating lines and smaller flies, while also being very well suited to the heaviest fishing with sinking lines and large flies. The 14-footer casts all heads from 38–43 grams, depending on head length.
Recommended line setup:
LTS SCSS Hi2 and S123 #9/10 + SCS 10-foot tip

This is the natural choice for early spring fishing with sinking lines and large flies, but also for anyone who wants to make fishing large rivers as easy as possible, with long casts throughout the season.
The lively tip and short stroke make it very easy to form tight loops, while the butt section adds substantial power. This helps make the rod exceptionally long-casting in all conditions.
The 15#10/11 is available in both four- and six-piece versions and performs best with a casting weight of 44–48 g, depending on head length.
Recommended line setup:
LTS SCS Intermediate and Intermediate/S2 #10/11 or SCSS S123 #10/11 + SCS 10-foot tips.

Complete Graphene 16#10/11/12
If you wade deep and/or need to cast as far as absolutely possible, while also wanting to make your sinking-line fishing as efficient and easy as possible, then 16#10/11/12 may be the best fit for you and your fishing.
The 16-footer has been made as light as possible and, when casting it, feels almost like an ordinary 14- or 15-footer!
The rod is extremely light, yet has the ability to generate power and casting distances you previously thought impossible.
The 16-footer handles a wide range of casting weights, but performs best with head weights from 46–50 g.
Recommended line setup:
LTS SCS Intermediate/S2 and SCSS S123 and S246 + 10-foot SCS tips (both #10/11 and #11/12 work well on this rod, depending on the feel you want to achieve)
