Description
This is our way of approaching Skagit, with the characteristics a Skagit should have and some characteristics we are accustomed to from Scandinavian fly casting.
This means that the line should easily deliver long casts with heavy flies and sinking tips. We have slowed down the turnover by adding a tapered intermediate section at the tip, allowing us to avoid the brutal “hit” that characterizes many of the Skagit lines on the market.
This line can be cast with traditional Skagit style, but can also easily be lifted and cast using a conventional Scandinavian underhand cast/Spey style.
