LTS Ephemera

When you name a fly rod Ephemera, it comes with obligations! Bjørnar Skjevdal has, together with Trond Syrstad, made two rods in classes 4 and 5 exactly as Bjørnar wants his trout rods to be. He therefore had no doubt what the rods should be called when they were finished—“Ephemera,” after our most beautiful mayfly.

Description

The rods are based on the old X1 Packlite series. They are, however, equipped with a deeper butt section and a more distinct tip. Thanks to the butt section, the rods are easy to load for delicate close-range fishing. The tip allows you to accelerate the line when you need to make longer casts, without the risk of tailing loops. In addition to being an all-round overhead rod, they are exceptionally well suited to underhand casts, Snake Rolls, and other casts that require changes of tempo. This is the fishing rod that presents the fly where it should be, hooks the fish, and guides it gently to the net, even with the thinnest leader.

The rods are four-piece and equipped with a black X1 reel seat, a half-wells handle, and snake guides in front of the single ceramic stripping guide. The blank is dark brown. The logo and guides have a discreet gold color. Each rod section is marked with its length and line class.
