LTS NITRO is designed to develop as much line speed as possible, even with shorter movements closer to the body. A firm and distinct stop on the forward cast works well here. The NITRO series has a consistently deep action, but the fast graphite and lighter tip result in a short stroke length and the feeling that the rod works quickly, even though it is also deep. To make the NITRO series feel as light and “crispy” as possible, we have chosen to remove all unnecessary varnish. A lightweight reel seat, guides, graphite, and minimal varnish give the rods a featherlight feel while retaining enormous power reserves.
