Description
For the 2015 season, we promised to introduce a new switch series. We at LTS do not want to release anything half-finished, so this series was not launched until 2016.
We are finally satisfied (read: Trond), and we hope this rod will put as big a smile on your face as it put on ours during testing.
This is a rod series that can be used both single-handed and double-hand. It should be said, however, that with its powerful rear grip, most people will probably prefer it as a double-hand rod when pursuing salmon and sea trout in tight quarters.
The rod now comes in two models: 11-foot class 7 and 11-foot class 8
Despite its short length, this series has the potential for long casts when needed. The rod has a familiar LTS action with a relatively powerful tip, while the lower section can easily be loaded for the extra “bear stroke” characteristic of several of LTS’s rod series. Its smooth action curve means that this rod will suit most casting styles and experience levels, and provides line control that simply has to be experienced. This also means that the rod handles a wider range of lines, from slightly lighter to heavier than the line class.
