Rinse the equipment with fresh water after use and dry it thoroughly after use in saltwater to prolong the life of your fishing rods. Although the rods are designed for use in saltwater, even the best components can be ruined without proper maintenance. Feel free to use oil or spray to prevent corrosion on the reel seat and guides, further ensuring that the rod is not damaged.
