Dermizax® is a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane specially developed to protect against all kinds of weather, while providing the highest possible level of comfort. Clothing with Dermizax® membrane withstands a water column of at least 20,000 mm and has extremely good moisture wicking capabilities.

The outer side of the fabric has been treated with a water-repellent treatment so that water repels and does not settle in the outer fabric. However, after prolonged use and several cycles in the washing machine, the water-repellent ability may be weakened. If the outer fabric absorbs water and becomes wet, the jacket may feel cold and condensation will occur more easily. In this case, it is worth re-impregnating the outer fabric with impregnation intended for breathable synthetic materials, so that water repels faster from the garment's surface and maintains its good breathability. We recommend using impregnation spray on garments with a membrane rather than impregnation that is washed in with the garment in the machine. Impregnation through washing seals the fabric from both sides, and the membrane may lose some of its functionality.
